MTA SA: 2 - Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas Local server and Admin Panel Tutorial.

* GTA SAN ANDREAS Game is required ⚠️!

Step 1 - Setup Local Server Name & Max Player Count.

☐  Go to your  MTA SA: installation location → MTA San Andreas 1.5\server\mods\deathmatch  (Default location is - C:\ Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\server\mods\deathmatch).

☐  Open mtaserver.conf in notepad or any text editor. (Right click on mtaserver.conf and click open with option and select any text editor like Notepad, Visual Studio Code……)

☐ If you need to change Local Server name, Change <servername>[Type any name do you need]</servername> .

☐ If you need to change Maximum Player count, Change <maxplayers>[How many players do you need]</maxplayers>

☐  After the changes save it using Ctrl + S or File→ Save. 

Step 2 – Setup Admin Panel

☐  Go to your  MTA SA: installation location → MTA San Andreas 1.5\server\mods\deathmatch (Default location is - C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\server\mods\deathmatch).

☐  Open acl.xml in notepad or any text editor. (Right click on acl.xml and click open with option and select any text editor like Notepad, Visual Studio Code……) 

☐  Add this command in <Admin> Group. (<object name="user.[any name do you need]"></object>)

☐  After the changes save it using Ctrl + S or File→ Save.    

Step 3 – Starting Local Server.

☐  Go to your  MTA SA: installation location → MTA San Andreas 1.5\server. (Default location is - C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\server)

☐  Double click and open MTA Server.exe. 

Step 4 – MTA SA: Launcher settings and Server Selecting.

☐  Double Click and open your  MTA SA Launcher desktop shortcut or go to C:\Program Files (x86)\MTA San Andreas 1.5\Multi Theft Auto.exe and open it.

☐  If you need to change your name go to setting → Multiplayer tab → Set any nickname do you need and select OK button under the window.

☐  You can change other game setting like Controls, Graphic settings, Audio settings, etc.  on other tabs 

☐  Click Quick connect → Local tab → Select You Server → double click on it or click on Connect Button.

☐  Wait until server load. 

Step 5 – Admin Login.

☐  After the server load close the map using cancel button under the map.

☐  Press F8 Key on your keyboard. 

☐  Type register [which name do you add to Admin acl in acl.xml] [give any password do you like] and Press Enter key on  your keyboard.

☐  After the registration type Login [which name do you entered in account registration] [give the password you entered in account registration] and Press Enter key on  your keyboard.

☐  Press P Key on your keyboard to open your Admin Panel.

Tips

⨠  Visual Studio Code is will be easy for future code editing, translate, code replace and other activities. I'll hope you download and install it and get ready for next tutorial.
